Shri D. Ramamoorthy

Mr. D. Ramamoorthy, joined the Embassy in September 2009. He was Director (South) in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi before joining the Mission. 
 

                  An engineering graduate from Madurai Kamraj University in Electronics and Communications (1975), he worked with BHEL in Bhopal and Bangalore before joining Indian Foreign Service in 1982.

 

             In his diplomatic career, Mr. Ramamoorthy was posted to Yemen, France, Algeria, Zimbabwe and Morocco where he held different positions and handled a wide range of subjects.

 

             Mr. Ramamoorthy holds charge of Political, Economic and Commercial matters in the Mission, besides Information and Culture.

 

             Mr. Ramamoorthy is married with two children, and his wife Mrs. Grace Ramamoorthy lives with him in Dublin. He is a keen golfer and is also interested in other sports.

Shri Ramesh Bhat

Mr. Ramesh Bhat, Second Secretary joined the Embassy in February 2009.   

           

              His previous diplomatic assignments include those in the Embassies in Peru, Cyprus, Kenya, New Zealand and South Africa. Mr Bhat is a science graduate from Mysore University and is accompanied by his wife Mrs. Nalini Bhat.

           

Mr. Bhat holds the charge of Consular/Passport/Visa and Community Affairs.
